ABOUT THE CAPTAIN Captain Dave Hanson is a native of southwest Florida. He has been fishing local waters since childhood, and has been fishing professionally for over fifteen years. He is Coast Guard licensed, and is a member in good standing of the Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce. He has been quoted and featured in several national fishing magazines, and he also appears weekly in the fishing reports sections of the Bonita, Ft. Myers, and Naples, FL newspapers.
Captain Dave is also a qualified marine mechanic. His skills as captain, guide, and mechanic make his customers feel safe and secure at all times. Putting your safety first, Captain Dave will not risk trips in rough weather. He keeps an ever watchful eye upon the weather conditions, which can change rapidly at certain times of the year. Amongst his friends he is known by the nickname "Doppler Dave" because of his weather watching!
